Your driver-guide will be waiting to pick you up from either the Nairobi hotel or the airport early in the morning. After a brief orientation, you’ll make your way to Tsavo West National Park. On entering the park, keep your eyes peeled for some amazing wildlife before checking into the lodge and treating yourself to a delicious lunch. The fun continues with an afternoon game drive that includes a special visit to the rhino sanctuary, talk about unforgettable! On this day, you will have morning and afternoon game drives. In between, you can relax at the lodge watching animals as they come to the water hole or spoil yourself at the lodge’s spa with minimal cost. Other activities include a bush breakfast or a cocktail sundowner at extra cost. The extensive and diverse habitats of Tsavo West offer an ideal area to search for the pride of lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hippos, wildebeests, and many more. Mzima Springs, an underground water seepage from Chyulu Hills, is a good place to watch the hippos. There is also wealth and diversity of bird species here for bird lovers.
