Genocide and transfer to Musanze for Iby'iwacu

Beginning with historical sites from colonial, post-independence, genocide, and post-genocide eras, such as Kigali Solaire, Stade regionale, the Kigali Genocide Memorial Site, where over 259,000 victims of the genocide were buried in mass graves, the Dr. Richard Kandt Museum, which honors the first German explorer to arrive in Kigali, the Belgian camp where ten Belgian UN soldiers were slain for defending the moderate prime minister prior to the start of the genocide, and so on, can be explored with a historical perspective. After the activity, you shall be transferred to Musanze if time allows for you to visit Iby'iwacu the culture center where you shall know more of the Rwanda`s culture. After the Iby'iwacu you shall be transferred to your booked accommodation for dinner and night over stay getting ready for the next days exciting activity.

Gorilla trekking and transfer back to your booked hotel

We head to the park after breakfast. We are starting a once-in-a-lifetime experience of monitoring mountain gorillas after finishing our park requirements. You are allowed to watch your closest long-lost cousin for one hour after you find them. Possibly one of the most amazing wildlife encounters on the planet is this one. You get to see these amazing, enormous primates up close. You both look at each other blankly, unsure if who should start breaking the prolonged quiet first. It's an amazing experience to track gorillas through the bright alpine forest on the Virunga slopes. After the trekking you shall be transferred back to the hotel.

Golden monkey and transfer to the airport

Golden monkey tracking is a thrilling wildlife activity in Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park. Tourists hike through bamboo forests to observe these playful and endangered primates, known for their striking golden-orange fur and energetic behavior. The experience offers a unique opportunity to witness the monkeys in their natural habitat, often swinging through trees or foraging on the forest floor.

Transfer to Kigali International Airport:
After the golden monkey tracking adventure, guests will be transferred to Kigali International Airport. The scenic drive through Rwanda’s rolling hills takes approximately 2.5 hours, ensuring timely arrival for departure flights and a smooth end to an unforgettable trip.
