You will arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. After clearing customs and immigration formalities, you'll meet your driver and head to Tarangire National Park. We recommend arriving early in the morning to fully enjoy your day on safari. If you arrive late, we advise spending the night in Arusha city and proceeding with the safari the next day. The drive may take up to 2 hours from the airport. Upon arrival, you will start your game drive and continue until the evening.
Lunch: We will stop for lunch at a picnic site inside the park.
Dinner: Dinner will be served at your lodge.
The park's name comes from the Tarangire River, which is the only source of water for the wildlife during the Dry season. The park is well known for its large herds of elephants, giant baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. Other wildlife includes both predators and herbivores such as lions, leopards, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, and buffalos, as well as various bird and plant species.

Once again, we will enjoy an early breakfast and set off on our game drive at about 6:30 am, spending 6 to 7 hours exploring this incredible park. The Serengeti is home to abundant wildlife, including impalas, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos. However, it is most renowned for its massive migrating herds of zebra (250,000), wildebeest (1.5 million), and antelope (500,000). The animals' journey is dictated by rainfall and varies each year. In addition to the migrating herds, we may spot predators like leopards, cheetahs, and lions going about their daily activities. Around 2 pm, we will head back to Karatu for an overnight stay at an accommodation near the Ngorongoro gate.
