Day 1

Kilimanjaro airport to Tarangire National Park

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will clear customs and meet your driver guide, then proceed to Tarangire National Park (about 2 hours’ drive). We recommend early morning arrivals to enjoy a full safari day; if you arrive late, overnight in Arusha and continue the next day.

On arrival, begin your game drive through the park until evening. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and dinner at your lodge.

Tarangire is famous for the Tarangire River, large elephant herds, baobab trees, and diverse wildlife including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and rich birdlife.

In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge in Manyara and relax in a Diamond Room featuring a private plunge pool, butler service, and complimentary in-room wine.

Day 2

Game drive in Serengeti National Park

Game drive in Serengeti National Park

The exciting adventure through the northern park will continue to Serengeti National Park. At around 6:30 am, our guide will pick you up from your lodge to start the drive to Serengeti National Park, stopping at the Olduvai Gorge Museum in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area along the way. The drive to the Serengeti gate may take up to 3 hours. We'll stop for lunch at Naabi Hill Gate, then continue with an afternoon game drive until evening.

Serengeti is one of Africa's most iconic wildlife reserves, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will have the chance to witness the 'Big Five' animals of Africa – the powerful lion, elusive leopard, majestic elephant, rhino, and mighty buffalo.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will depart at around 6:30 am for a 6 to 7-hour game drive in Serengeti National Park. The park is famous for its abundant wildlife, including impalas, buffaloes, crocodiles, hippos, and the Great Migration of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes. You may also spot predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs in their natural habitat.

In the afternoon, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and an overnight stay at a tented Camp located close to the Ngorongoro Crater, just 25 minutes away, allowing enough time for the next day’s game drive inside the crater.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Get up early for breakfast to make the most out of your day in the Ngorongoro Crater.

You'll depart after breakfast (07:00 am) from the lodge for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive takes about 25minutes to reach the Ngorongoro Crater. You'll embark on a full-day crater tour game drive with a picnic lunch.

About the Ngorongoro Crater: The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a World Heritage Site under natural and cultural criteria. Once you descend into the crater, you will have a great chance to spot the Big Five, including prides of lions, herds of buffalos, elephants, leopards, and black rhinos. Bird species like flamingos live in the crater lakes. You'll experience the amazing natural environment inside the crater.

After the game drives, we’ll drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, arriving in the evening.
