Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional guide and transferred into the city for an enriching Kigali tour. You will visit the moving Kigali Genocide Memorial for a deeper understanding of Rwanda’s history, followed by a walk through the lively Nyabugogo Market. Explore Gikondo, known for local crafts, where you can find handmade wooden souvenirs and pottery. Continue to the vibrant Nyamirambo, famous for its rich culture and Muslim heritage, and conclude with a visit to the Franco-Rwandan Cultural Centre. Early arrival allows for a relaxed and immersive experience.

Transfer to Nyungwe National Park, Tea Plantation Experience

After your breakfast, you will transfer to Nyungwe National Park, the home of the primates and canopy walk. The journey southwest passes through the beautiful terraced hillsides that characterize much of Rwanda’s landscapes, sighting Kamegeri Rock in Ruhango District, stopover at the Nyanza King’s Palace for a cultural experience. You'll have lunch on the way and proceed with the journey.

Upon arrival at the hotel, you will check in and enjoy the property amenities before embarking on a thrilling tea plantation experience. Expect to engage more with the local people and practice your tea-picking skills on this tea plantation field with awesome photography. You'll return to the hotel for dinner and rest.

Gorilla Trekking experience in Volcanoes National Park

Our travelers’ favorite and pioneer activity is nature hiking on the ancient walking trail through the mystic Bwindi Impenetrable, this time not for gorillas but for the love of nature. The nature walking trail begins from the Lodge through villages, into the misty jungle along the Kashasha River valley, and out through Nteko near the DRC border. For 15 km, 4-6 hours, you’ll be immersed in the majestic beauties of the ancient jungle guided by a local expert who’ll furnish you with old tales and incredible forest knowledge and bring you close to being one with the forest trails. If you’re lucky, you’ll meet wild forest inhabitants like chimps, elephants, duikers, forest buffalo, and more. At the rendezvous point, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to the lodge.

Golden Monkey Trekking in Volcanoes

After an early breakfast, return to Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a briefing before setting out on an exciting Golden Monkey trekking experience. Venture into the bamboo forests in search of these lively and endangered primates, known for their playful nature and striking golden-orange fur. The trek is generally less strenuous than gorilla tracking, offering a relaxed yet equally rewarding encounter as you observe the monkeys leaping through the trees and foraging on the forest floor.
After the trek, return to the lodge for refreshment before beginning your scenic drive back to Kigali. Enjoy the beautiful countryside along the way as you head to Kigali International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Rwanda adventure.
