Your adventure begins at 8:30 am, when you will be picked up from your accommodation in Kampala or directly from Entebbe Airport. The drive to Murchison Falls National Park will be unhurried, giving you time to enjoy the journey. Along the way, your guide will share insights into the history and culture of the communities you pass.
Midway, you’ll stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting rhino trekking experience—a rare opportunity to see these magnificent animals on foot. Afterward, you’ll pause for a meal and a short rest before continuing your journey.
As you approach the park, you’ll enjoy views of the wild waters of Karuma Falls and spot some of the area’s permanent residents, including playful olive baboons. On arrival, you’ll check in at your lodge, where you’ll have dinner and relax, preparing for the thrilling adventures of the next day.

You’ll start the day early at 6:00 a.m. with a light snack and hot tea or coffee before heading into the park for a morning game drive. This is the perfect time to spot wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, antelopes, and a variety of savannah birds, all more active in the cool morning air—an excellent chance for photography.
After a hearty lunch, embark on a boat cruise along the Nile, where you’ll encounter hippos, crocodiles, and an impressive range of waterbirds. The cruise culminates with a hike to the top of the mighty Murchison Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge, creating a breathtaking spectacle.
Later, your guide will take you on another evening game drive, offering more opportunities to see wildlife as they prepare for nightfall. You’ll then return to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening, reflecting on the day’s incredible adventures.

Day 3

After a hearty breakfast, check out of the lodge and begin the 4–5 hour drive to Kibale Forest National Park, renowned for its chimpanzees. Though the journey is lengthy, you’ll pass through picturesque countryside, forests, rivers, lakes, plantations, and vibrant local trading centers, with plenty of opportunities to capture memorable photos of daily life and the smiling locals. Upon arrival, check into your lodge for lunch, followed by some relaxation or an optional afternoon nature walk. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the lodge and unwind, preparing for the next day’s adventures.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, proceed to the Kibale National Park headquarters for a ranger-led briefing on the dos and don’ts of chimpanzee trekking. Following the briefing, venture into the forest to track Kibale’s famous chimpanzees, known for their large, vocal groups—often audible from a mile away. The trek typically lasts three to five hours, with one hour allowed to observe and photograph the chimpanzees in their natural habitat.
After the trek, return to the lodge to check out, with the option to have lunch there or en route. Continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the evening to check into your lodge. Enjoy dinner and a relaxed evening as you prepare for the next day’s adventures.

Start the day with an early breakfast, then check out of your lodge and embark on a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to a rich variety of wildlife including elephants, leopards, buffalo, tree-climbing lions, and numerous antelope species. Optionally, visit the Kikorongo Equator Monument, where the imaginary equator line divides the country into the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
Return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation before heading out for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, the natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. The cruise offers excellent opportunities to spot hippos, Nile crocodiles, and a wide variety of birds such as pelicans, kingfishers, saddle-billed storks, and sometimes crowned cranes. Conclude the day with an evening game drive, then return to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

You'll have a delicious breakfast, check out of the accommodation, and embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is famously known for its resident tree-climbing lions. The chance of spotting these lions is about 70% though sometimes they are hard to spot. From here, you'll proceed to Bwindi National Park, which is known for a large habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda, harbouring an estimated 1,000 mountain gorillas, which is roughly half of the world’s population. It includes several habituated groups, which can be tracked. Its mist-covered hillsides are blanketed by one of Uganda's oldest and most biologically diverse rainforests, which dates back over 25,000 years and contains almost 400 species of plants. With an exciting, unforgettable, adventurous day ahead, you will relax and do less on arrival. Just check into your accommodation as you await the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the next day.

After an early breakfast, proceed to the ranger’s post for a briefing on the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park feels like a world untouched for millennia. Trekking through dense vegetation can be challenging, but the distant sounds of a gorilla family breaking branches quicken your pulse. Following the trackers, the unforgettable moment comes when you finally encounter these majestic primates. You will spend one hour with the gorillas, capturing as many photos as possible, before returning to the lodge to check out.
Next, travel to Lake Bunyonyi, often called the "Switzerland of Africa," famed for its lush, terraced hills, 29 islands—including the historically significant Punishment Island—and over 200 bird species. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and, if you wish, enjoy a canoe ride (at an extra cost) before returning for dinner and a relaxing evening.

After a delicious, relaxing breakfast, you'll check out of your accommodation and head to Lake Mburo National Park, which is Uganda's smallest savannah park and known for its diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife, including zebras, impalas, elands, and over 350 bird species. It's characterised by a mosaic of habitats like acacia woodland, rocky ridges, and wetlands, with 5 of its 13 lakes lying within the park's borders. The scenic journey from Lake Bunyonyi to Lake Mburo National Park offers a visual feast of Uganda's diverse landscapes. Starting with the terraced hills and deep waters of Lake Bunyonyi, the route transitions through the "Switzerland of Africa" with its rolling hills and cool climate, before arriving at the open savannah and acacia woodlands of Lake Mburo. The journey provides a contrast between the lush, watery scenery of Bunyonyi and the wildlife-rich plains of Mburo. You'll check into your accommodation and relax, awaiting the next day's adventure.

Day 9

After your morning breakfast, you'll head out for the cycling adventure to the park gate and register for the cycling activity, which will take 2 to 3 hours. This unforgettable adventurous experience gives you a chance to get close to zebras, impalas, and other animals in the park. You will take very scenic, adventurous photos. In case you cannot ride, we also offer guided nature walks instead. Therefore, let us know which option works best for you. Afterward, you'll return to the lodge for lunch. Later, you can choose to take a 2-hour boat cruise (at extra cost) on Lake Mburo, which offers a serene and unique way to experience the park's wildlife and scenery. Expect to see hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and various bird species like kingfishers, fish eagles, and herons. The dry season (June to August and December to January) is ideal for sightings as animals gather near the shores. You'll return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 10

Transfer to Entebbe
After a leisurely breakfast, check out of your accommodation and begin your journey back to Entebbe, arriving in the afternoon in time. Along the way, you’ll have opportunities for photos and to browse local crafts and souvenirs. If time permits, the driver can take you to Kampala to visit the African Crafts Market, or drop you at the international airport or your booked accommodation (additional cost applies).
