Day 2

Your first day of safari adventures begins today! After breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, with the drive from Arusha taking approximately 2 hours. Along the way, you will enjoy the scenic landscapes of northern Tanzania, including rolling hills, traditional Maasai villages, and acacia-dotted plains.

Once you arrive at Tarangire, your safari adventure begins with a game drive, where you can spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of bird species. The park is especially famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, making it a photographer’s paradise. After an exciting day exploring the park, you will drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

At 07:00, after breakfast at Baobab Tented Lodge in Tarangire, you will check out and enjoy a scenic en-route game drive as you transfer towards the Central Serengeti. The journey offers continued wildlife viewing as you make your way through changing landscapes into the vast Serengeti plains.

Upon arrival, you will proceed with a full-day game drive in the Central Serengeti, continuing your search for Africa’s Big Five. The Serengeti is renowned for its rich resident wildlife, particularly the Big Five, named after the five most sought-after trophy animals. It is home to the largest population of lions in Africa, with over 3,000 individuals within the ecosystem. The elusive African leopard is also frequently seen in the Seronera region, with an estimated population of around 1,000.

In the late afternoon, you will head to your Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, where you can relax and reflect on the day’s incredible wildlife experiences.

After breakfast, you will enjoy a full-day game drive in the Serengeti, exploring its vast plains in search of the Big Five and observing its rich wildlife throughout the morning and early afternoon.

In the afternoon, you will proceed on a scenic transfer game drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at Ngorongoro Lion’s Paw Camp for dinner and overnight stay. En route, you will visit a traditional Maasai boma for a cultural experience and interaction with the local Maasai community.

The overnight stay at Ngorongoro is arranged to allow an early descent into the crater the following day for a full and unhurried game drive. Ngorongoro Lion’s Paw Camp is a luxury tented camp on the crater rim, offering stunning sunrise views, an intimate atmosphere, personalized service, and quick access to the crater floor for early morning game drives.

Day 6

Early in the morning, you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Ngorongoro Crater from your lodge located on the crater rim, offering one of the most spectacular natural panoramas in Africa.

This will be followed by breakfast at the lodge, overlooking the misty crater floor as the sun rises over the landscape.

After breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. The crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Africa to see a wide variety of wildlife in a single area. You will have excellent opportunities to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and the rare black rhino, all within the stunning scenery of the crater floor, which features grasslands, forests, and soda lakes.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater while continuing your game-viewing experience.

In the afternoon, after the game drive, you will ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha.
