The drive from Arusha to Tarangire takes about 2 hours. Upon arrival, we will embark on a full-day game drive to prime locations for spotting lions, cheetahs, leopards, and classic herbivores such as elephants, wildebeest, buffalo, deer, and gazelles. As the day winds down and other visitors depart, we will continue our game drive into the late evening, taking advantage of a less crowded and more active scene in Tarangire. We will then camp in an authentic wilderness camp, offering a peaceful and quiet experience that stands out from the busier camps in the Serengeti.

Begin your full-day adventure with an early morning departure for Lake Manyara National Park, arriving in time for a morning game drive as wildlife is most active and the park is at its most vibrant.
Spend the day exploring the diverse landscapes of the park, from lush groundwater forests and open grasslands to the shimmering lake shores. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and the famous tree-climbing lions, along with a variety of bird species that make this park a true birdwatcher’s paradise.
Enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch inside the park, surrounded by nature and the sounds of the wilderness. In the afternoon, continue with a game drive, exploring different areas of the park for more wildlife encounters and scenic viewpoints.
As the sun begins to set, exit the park with unforgettable memories of a rich and rewarding safari experience before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Arriving in the afternoon, savor lunch and embark on an exhilarating evening game drive. Then, settle in at Kontiki Serengeti Camp for a memorable overnight experience amidst Serengeti's wilderness.
