Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Morning Departure: Depart Arusha
between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM. The drive to the Serengeti gate
takes approximately 6 to 7 hours via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
En Route: You will pass through the lush highlands of Ngorongoro, often stopping for a viewpoint of the Crater from the rim before entering the Serengeti plains.
Afternoon: Enter the Serengeti through Naabi Hill Gate and enjoy your first game drive as you head toward your camp.
Overnight: Mgunga Serengeti Camp, a mid-range luxury tented camp located in the Western Corridor.

Full day Game drive in Serengeti National Park

Wildlife Viewing: Spend the day exploring the Seronera River Valley (the "heart" of the park) for big cats like lions and leopards, or the Western Corridor, depending on the season and migration patterns.
Activities: Optional sunrise game drive or a Hot Air Balloon Safari (additional cost).
Evening: Return to Mgunga Serengeti Camp for dinner and a second night under the stars.

Game drive and transfer back to Arusha

After a morning breakfast you will go for a game drive on route to Arusha via Ngorongoro conservation area.

With our packed lunch we continue with the long drive back to Arusha.

Optional Stop: Many travelers choose to visit a Maasai Village or the Olduvai Gorge museum along the way.
Drop-off: Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon or early evening for hotel or airport drop-off.
