DAR to Mikumi National Park
DAR to Mikumi National Park
Early in the morning at 5:00 am our guide and driver team will meet you at your hotel and start the transfer to Mikumi National Park. The drive takes about 5hrs30min depending on the traffic.
You'll have a lunch stop in Morogoro town.
You'll enjoy an en-route game drive as you arrive in the Mikumi region.
On arrival, you will go to the national park for an afternoon game drive and animal sighting tour.
Inside Mikumi park there is plenty game for you to see and view. The park is full of animals including giraffes, zebras, buffalos, impalas, Hippos, buffalos, lions and wildebeests. These animals are easily spotted as you drive around in the safari car.
As you go deeper inside the park, you may spot hyenas and on a good day you will see the leopard.
You'll return to the lodge before 6:00 pm for the evening rest, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 2
Mikumi National Park Game Drives
Mikumi National Park Game Drives
Today, you will have an early breakfast and at 7h15 you will go to the park for a morning game drive seeing lots of animals.
Continue with game drives until 11:30am.
You will then exit the park and start the transfer back to the city.
Stop in Morogoro for a hot lunch break.
Continue with the drive back to Dar es Salaam after lunch.
You'll be dropped off at your stated location or hotel.
End of safari service.
