Serengeti National Park - Ndutu
Leaving the endless grasslands of the Serengeti, you will travel south to the iconic Ndutu plains, where open horizons meet scattered acacia woodlands. Descending into the Ndutu area, the landscape changes to a stunning mix of short-grass plains and shimmering alkaline lakes—ideal habitats for wildlife. During the Ndutu calving season, thousands of wildebeest give birth almost simultaneously, attracting predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas in dramatic encounters. Beyond the action, the region offers serene beauty, with woodlands filled with birdsong and evenings that settle into golden sunsets over the lakes.

Day 4
Ndutu
Ndutu
After breakfast, you will continue exploring Ndutu. The Ndutu plains are known for their short grass, providing ideal grazing grounds for large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Between December and March, this is the peak of calving season, when thousands of wildebeest give birth within a short period.
This natural spectacle attracts predators from across the Serengeti—lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas—making Ndutu one of Africa’s best locations to witness the raw drama of life and survival. The area also allows off-road driving, giving you close encounters with wildlife and unobstructed photography opportunities.
Beyond the herds, nearby Lakes Ndutu and Masek attract flamingos, storks, and other waterbirds, adding vibrant color to the plains. In the evening, you will transfer to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Ndutu - Ngorongoro Crater
We will depart early in the morning and make our way down into the Ngorongoro Crater. Our chances of seeing black rhinos are higher the earlier we descend.
Spend most of the day touring the crater from the comfort of your 4x4 Land Cruiser with an open roof. The 600–650-meter-high walls of the Ngorongoro Crater give it the appearance of a natural zoo. Depending on the season, the terrain changes, offering unique scenes that are distinct to Tanzania.
After a day of wildlife viewing, enjoy a picnic lunch near the well-known hippo pool. Afterwards, we will drive to Arusha, which marks the end of your safari.
