Nairobi - Masai Mara by Plane

Pick up from your hotel or Airport in Nairobi, followed by a transfer to Wilson Airport to catch your flight to the Masai Mara. The flight duration is approximately 1 hour.

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred from the airstrip to your camp or lodge with an en-route game drive in a 4x4 safari vehicle.

Enjoy the lodge facilities and the panoramic views on offer. Later in the afternoon, proceed for a game drive until evening. Dinner and overnight stay at your camp.

Full day Game Drive in Masai Mara

After breakfast, you will embark on a full-day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve, home to over 3 million large mammals. Our experienced driver/guide will take you in search of the famous Big 5 (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino), as well as other animals such as hyena, cheetah, jackal, warthog, giraffe, zebra, antelope, wildebeest, and various bird species. You will enjoy a picnic lunch at Mara River while witnessing the famous migration.

After the game drive, you can opt to visit a Masai village for US$20 per person. This visit offers insight into the Masai culture and includes a traditional welcome with a sing and dance presentation, which is part of their daily lives and sacred rituals.

Following the full-day game drive, we will return to our camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

After a relaxed breakfast, check out of the camp and transfer to the airstrip to catch your flight to Nairobi, enjoying a short en-route game drive as you bid farewell to the Masai Mara.

Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, our driver-guide will pick you up for your onward transfer to your hotel or the airport.
