Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will meet by one of our Nyumbu Beyond Journeys safari guide and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.
Entebbe is located on the northern shores of Lake Victoria, Africa's largest lake, and is located approximately 37 kilometers southwest of the Uganda capital of Kampala. With it pleasant climate, you can enjoy and explore many places including the various parks, beaches, islands, botanical gardens, national zoo and more.

Day 2
Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast at the hotel, your driver guide will pick you for a transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. This journey will take you through the famous Luweero Triangle and a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Upon arrival at the sanctuary, enjoy a 1-2 hour walk as you track the Rhinos. This is the only place where one is able to see these in the wild. Have lunch and later proceed with your journey to Murchison Falls National Park via Masindi town.
You will have another stop over the Top of the falls for a clear and magnificent views of the water forcing its self through a 7-meter gorge and drops to over 43 meters below with a thunderous roar hence forming a beautiful rainbow. Reach at your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Start your day early with a pre-dawn departure for a game drive in Murchison Falls, Uganda’s largest national park. As the sun rises, you'll witness a diverse array of wildlife, including lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, warthogs, antelopes, waterbucks, and bushbucks. Bird enthusiasts will also delight in the numerous bird species present. After 3-4 hours of exploring, return to the lodge for a leisurely breakfast and some relaxation.
In the afternoon, embark on a scenic cruise along the Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. This 3-hour boat trip offers the chance to observe a variety of water-loving animals such as hippos, crocodiles, and buffaloes, as well as an impressive array of birds including kingfishers, cormorants, hornbills, Goliath herons, Egyptian geese, pelicans, and bee-eaters. After the cruise, head back to the lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 4

In the early morning, enjoy breakfast at the lodge before departing for Kibale National Park. The journey will take you through the Albertine Escarpment of the Western Rift Valley, offering views of the lush countryside and traditional homesteads within the Bunyoro and Toro Kingdoms. As you arrive in Fort Portal, clear days may reveal the legendary snowcapped Mountains of the Moon, also known as Mount Rwenzori. Kibale Forest National Park is home to 13 primate species, including chimpanzees, man's closest cousins.
At Bigodi Wetland, you can learn how to manufacture crafts and herbal medicines from the people in this area. You will get the chance to sample some of the best gins, beers, and coffees that are produced locally. Nevertheless, the highlight of these walks is the transition to see at least five different species of monkeys and catch a glimpse of the blue turaco & boasts over 325 bird species, including the rare Green Breasted Pitta.

Day 5

Start your day with breakfast at the lodge before setting out for a half-day chimpanzee tracking experience. You'll be transferred to the park headquarters at Kanyanchu for a 30-40 minute briefing, where you'll learn about the chimpanzees and their forest habitat. After the briefing, embark on your trek through the forest to find these fascinating primates.
Upon spotting the chimps, you'll have one hour to observe them and take videos and pictures. Along the way, you may also encounter other primate species such as L’Hoest’s monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, blue vervet monkeys, and black-and-white colobus monkeys. Additionally, keep an eye out for forest elephants, buffaloes, and numerous bird species.
After the tracking experience, transfer to your next destination, Queen Elizabeth National Park. Known as one of the country’s premier wildlife parks, it boasts over 600 bird species and a variety of mammals, including lions, leopards, elephants, and buffaloes.

After an early morning breakfast, depart for a game drive in the Kasenyi area. Keep an eye out for a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, warthogs, waterbucks, and bushbucks.
After morning guided game drive, embark on a mid-morning cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. The channel is home to one of Africa’s largest hippo populations and numerous bird species. This 3-hour boat cruise offers stunning views of water-loving animals such as hippos, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and various antelope species, as well as a rich diversity of birds. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7

After breakfast, depart from the northern side of Queen Elizabeth National Park and head to the southern Ishasha sector of the park. Enjoy a mid-morning game drive in search of the rare tree-climbing lions and other animals inhabiting that area.
In the afternoon, continue your journey to the renowned Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, famous for being home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Check in at your lodge for a restful evening.

Day 8

The day is finally here for your unforgettable life time experience of meeting face to face with the giant mountain Gorillas. You will start your day with an early breakfast at your lodge and then transfer to the Park headquarters (depending on which location you have booked your accommodation) for briefing. There are 4 sectors in which Gorilla trekking takes place with in Bwindi Forest. The northern side of the park is comprised of Buhoma and Ruhija Sector and the southern side comprised of Rushaga and Nkuringo sectors.
After Briefing, you will start on your day’s trek. Searching for the gorillas may take like 2-5hrs depending on where they were last spotted the previous day. Once they have been spotted, you will be given one hour to take videos, photos and also get a chance to ask the rangers and the guides any questions about these giant apes. Besides the great Apes, the forest is also a home to other wildlife and bird species which can be spotted on the way the gorillas.

Day 9

After an early breakfast, embark on a journey to Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest national park. The drive offers stunning scenery and views of the Ankole Kingdom, with its animal farms and various crop plantations. Arrive at your lodge in Lake Mburo in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, set out for a walking safari in Lake Mburo, you will be accompanied by a ranger and he will explain to you all about the park and its Wildlife. The walk will take 2 to 3 hours, and after the walk, Keep an eye out for giraffes, buffaloes, and other wildlife. The park is renowned for having the largest population of zebras in Uganda. Other animals you might spot include impalas, oribis, and the rare leopard sights, as well as numerous bird species.

Day 10

Enjoy breakfast before embarking on a game drive as you exit Lake Mburo National Park. Keep an eye out for resident animals such as impalas, zebras, oribis, topis, and elands. Afterwards, drive back to Entebbe with a lunch stop along the way. Pause at the Equator for a unique water experience and some photography.
On arrival into Entebbe you will be dropped off at the International Airport for your late afternoon or evening departure back home or the next destination.
