Drive to Tarangire National Park from Arusha, Tarangire is the sixth-largest national park in Tanzania it is eponymously named by the river that runs through it providing valuable water to resident animals during dry season. While the Park does not offer all the big five, its especially famous for its large number of elephants. It is estimated that nearly 4000 elephants can be found here. There are other large animals can be seen here lions, elephants, giraffe, leopard, buffalo, hyenas, wildebeest and zebra. In fact four of the big five are found in Tarangire, with only the rhino being absent. In addition to the stoic, thorny acacias, one can find the mighty baobab tree here. The tree bears nutritious fruits that are high in Vitamin C and in Calcium and which are very popular with the animals. After the game drive to Karatu for Relaxation and overnight.

Day 2
Karatu to Serengeti National Park

Early in the Morning drive to Serengeti National Park through Ngorongoro Conseration Area, which is one of the most famous Park in Africa and certainly Tanzania's most famous and visited Park. This Park is home to the big five and big seven, which are the big five plus cheetah and wild dog. Probably the biggest claim to fame for the Serengeti is its annual migration of herbivores. All year around over three million herbivores travel through out the Serengeti in a clockwise fashion, in such of the most lush and nutritious grasses. While the main stars of the migration are the blue (or white-bearded ) wildebeest of which there are over two million, the annual migration also includes herbivores such as zebra and various species of antelope. After late afternoon game drive head to the camp for overnight.

Early morning game drive in the Serengeti plains trying to capture what was missed on yesterday’s drive. Enjoy an unforgettable sunrise game drive across the Serengeti and get a chance to appreciate the view as the sun set fire to the savannah while predators such as leopards and lions hunt for their morning meal. Alternatively you might want to explore the untouched parts of Serengeti as you casually drift away from the surface of the earth in the early hours of the morning, safe in the basket of a hot air balloon. This is an additional activity if you like to add it then confirm with our safari expert. Then you will proceed to explore the vast savannah of Serengeti in your open roof vehicle with your packed lunch. Take your hat and sunglasses out and enjoy what nature has in store for you.

Day 4
Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater

Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area then descend to Ngorongoro Crater which is the worlds largest volcanic caldera home to the highest density of big game in Africa and wildlife stays in the crater around the year. Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking beautiful setting and a best place where you can see the big 5 such as lions, leopard, black rhinoceros, elephants and African buffalos. The Crater is also home to zebras, buffalos, warthogs, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches and hippos. You can find high population of predators including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and leopards. After a full game drive head to the lodge for overnight in Karatu.
