Meet your driver at your hotel in Dar es Salaam for a transfer to the SGR station. Catch the early 6:00am train, arriving in Morogoro at 7:40am, where our guide will transfer you to Mikumi National Park (a one-hour drive). Enjoy a thrilling game drive through the park, home to elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes and more than 400 bird species. Return for dinner and an overnight stay at Tanapa Mikumi Cottages.

Wake up early for a 6:00am game drive in Mikumi National Park, one of Tanzania's hidden gems. In the cool morning breeze, witness predator activity, with the chance to see big cats hunting. Early morning in the park also offers a high chance to spot hippos, buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, zebras, wildebeest and more! After a thrilling game drive, return to your lodge for a hearty breakfast before heading to Morogoro for the afternoon SGR train back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, you will be met by our driver and transferred to your hotel for a seamless drop-off, marking the end of your exclusive safari adventure.
