Meet your driver at your hotel in Dar es Salaam for a transfer to SGR station. Catch the early 6 AM train, arriving in Morogoro at 7:40 AM, where our guide will transfer you to Mikumi National Park (1-hour drive). Enjoy a thrilling game drive through the park, home to elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and over 400 bird species. Return for dinner and an overnight stay at Tanapa Cottages.

Wake up early for a 6 AM game drive in Mikumi National Park, one of Tanzania’s hidden gems. With a cool morning breeze, witness predator action, including the chance to see big cats in action or hunting. The park’s early morning activity offers a high chance to spot hippos, buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, zebras, wildebeest, and more in bigger herds. After a thrilling game drive, return to your lodge for a hearty breakfast before heading to Morogoro for the afternoon SGR train back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, you will be met by our driver and transferred back to your hotel for a seamless drop-off, ending your exclusive safari adventure.
