Nairobi-Samburu National Park

You’ll be picked up from your Nairobi hotel in the morning and drive north past the foothills of Mount Kenya towards the arid landscapes of Samburu. Arrive at Samburu Sopa Lodge in time for lunch and check-in to your comfortable room overlooking the bush. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in Samburu National Reserve in search of unique species found only in this region — Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe and the elegant gerenuk. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay beneath a brilliant northern sky. Optional (Extra Cost): Maasai village visit or guided nature walk around the lodge.
