Early in the morning, you will be picked up for the Meerkats tour, where you’ll get up close with a resident gang of habituated meerkats. Watch how these social, highly adapted animals interact with one another and their environment. You’ll also have the rare chance to see the desert from a meerkat’s eye view—just a foot off the ground, yet offering a surprisingly spectacular perspective.
From there, you’ll explore the vast Makgadikgadi, with its endless shimmering saltpans stretching to the horizon. In the green season, you may even witness Africa’s second-largest migration as thousands of zebras and wildebeests gather in search of fresh grass.
After this memorable experience, you’ll be transferred to Cresta Maun Lodge for check-in. Later, enjoy a breathtaking helicopter scenic flight over the Okavango Delta, giving you a bird’s-eye view of its winding channels, lagoons, and wildlife-rich plains.
