Our safari guide from our office will pick you up at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport and transfer you to your hotel in Karatu town for relaxation and overnight. If time allows, you can experience a city tour with our safari guide for free.

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we depart for Central Serengeti for wildlife sightings. We will enjoy lunch in a suitable place inside the park. In the afternoon, we will continue the game drive before reaching the camp. The next day, we will spend a full day inside the park for game drives.

You'll be exploring the extraordinary heart of the Serengeti. The Central Serengeti has the largest wildlife populations, and it's especially good for seeing all three species of big cats. Here, you'll also get to experience the classic savannah grasslands and acacia trees, the signature landscapes of the East African safari.

Northern Serengeti for Migration

Get up early and enjoy breakfast. We will then drive to the Northern Serengeti area around the Mara River, where the great migration is happening. Our safari guide will find the best spot for the great migration.

The great migration is the largest herd movement of wildebeests, zebras and other animals. They cross the crocodile-infested Mara River to the Masai Mara in Kenya.

Northern Serengeti for Migration

After an early breakfast, you will go on a game drive in the northern Serengeti, keeping a special lookout for the great migration. The wildebeest and zebras must survive the Nile crocodiles and fast-flowing water before facing the lions waiting on the other side. This time of year, game viewing is sensational, impressive and dramatic.

Later, we will drive back to Central Serengeti, where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater

Today, we'll take you out onto the savannah plains of the Serengeti. We'll show you the beauty of this park on an early morning game drive en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater with a picnic lunch.

The crater shelters close to 30,000 animals, including the Big Five. It teems with zebras, buffaloes, lions, wildebeests, warthogs, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, cheetahs and a small population of the rare black rhino. The beautiful colours and dancing clouds make the crater almost surreal. Because of its natural beauty, the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders.

After a long day with great memories, drive back to your lodge in Karatu for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, relax at the lodge and, if time allows, take a short tour of Karatu town for shopping. You will then transfer to Arusha Airport and fly to Zanzibar. Our driver will be waiting for you at Zanzibar Airport for a private transfer to your hotel.
