You will be picked up early by our professional tour guide in Kampala or Entebbe and begin your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. En route, you will stop at the Equator for a memorable experience of standing with one foot in the Northern Hemisphere and the other in the Southern Hemisphere.
You will then continue to Mbarara, where lunch will be taken either in town or at the lodge, depending on arrival time. Upon arrival at the lodge, enjoy sweeping views of the surroundings and unwind during a relaxed evening.

Wake up early for an unforgettable morning game drive in the Kasenyi sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of the best wildlife-viewing areas in Uganda. This prime savannah is renowned for its high concentration of lions, large herds of elephants and buffalo, as well as a remarkable variety of birdlife, offering exceptional photography and viewing opportunities.
After lunch, enjoy a spectacular afternoon boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel. This two-hour cruise is a true highlight of the safari, bringing you up close to some of Africa’s largest concentrations of hippos, massive Nile crocodiles, elephants, and warthogs as they gather along the water’s edge. Following this thrilling experience, you may choose to embark on an evening game drive for even more wildlife encounters or return to the lodge to relax and reflect on an incredible day in the wild.

Set off in the morning toward the remote and scenic Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, traveling along an adventurous route that often rewards you with sightings of baboons and elephants along the way. Ishasha is celebrated for its open plains, home to topis and buffalo, and most famously for its rare tree-climbing lions. These remarkable lions are often seen resting high in massive fig trees, offering one of the most unique wildlife experiences in Africa.
After completing your game drive, continue the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Enjoy the dramatic change in scenery as the road winds upward into lush forests and mist-covered mountains, the legendary home of the mountain gorillas. Upon arrival at your lodge, settle in, relax, and enjoy a well-deserved dinner as you prepare for the extraordinary experience awaiting you the following day.

After an early breakfast, transfer to the rangers’ post for a detailed briefing by park rangers on the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. You'll then enter Bwindi Forest for your trekking. This ancient rainforest is characterized by steep, densely forested terrain interlaced with natural animal trails that allow guided access. Trekking duration and difficulty vary depending on the location and movement of the gorilla families, making every experience unique and rewarding. Once a gorilla group is located, you'll spend 1 hour in their presence, quietly observing their behavior at close range. This deeply moving encounter with these gentle, endangered giants is a life-changing experience.
After the trek, continue your journey to Lake Bunyonyi. Surrounded by lush, terraced green hills rising between 2,200 and 2,478 meters, the lake’s beauty is truly captivating. Its 29 islands, create a magical landscape you could admire for hours.

Day 5
Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Mburo National Park via Mbarara City, arriving in the early afternoon. Upon arrival, take time to relax and refresh at your lodge before heading out for an exciting late-afternoon game drive. As the park comes alive in the golden evening light, enjoy excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. Lake Mburo is especially known for its large herds of majestic eland antelopes, as well as zebras, topis, impalas, Uganda kob, and Cape buffaloes, among many other species.
After this rewarding wildlife experience, return to your accommodation to unwind, enjoy dinner, and settle in for a peaceful night surrounded by nature.

Day 6
Safari Walk and Game Drive
Safari Walk and Game Drive
You'll enjoy your early breakfast and proceed for the Mburo morning park (bush) walk in the presence of an armed
Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger/guide. On this early morning guided walk, you will have the opportunity to
encounter (at close range): Zebras, giraffes, eland, topi and other antelope, Cape buffaloes, among others.
You'll take the trail to the top of the hills and see Lake Mburo and beyond. From this vantage point, you will have a
great view of 9 of the twelve lakes surrounding Lake Mburo NP. You'll return to the lodge for some rest time and lunch. After lunch, it is time for your game drive in the park. You'll return to the lodge to relax and have an overnight stay.

Day 7
Transfer to Entebbe
Transfer to Entebbe
You'll have a relaxed breakfast, check out, and then hit the road to Entebbe, where you will catch a flight. Expect a stop at the Uganda Equator crossing mark and take some memorable photos in the Pearl of Africa. Lunch will be served en route to Entebbe.
