1-Day Chimpanzee Trekking Trip Budongo Central Forest

Start your day with an early morning breakfast at your lodge or residence in Hoima City. Afterward, your guide will meet you for a short briefing before transferring you to Bugoma Central Forest Reserve, the site of your chimpanzee trekking experience.

Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by a ranger guide who will conduct a detailed briefing about the rules and guidelines to follow during your encounter with the chimpanzees.

Following the briefing, begin your trek into the forest in search of the chimpanzees. Once located, you’ll be allowed to observe and spend one unforgettable hour with them in their natural habitat.

After the trek, return to the starting point for a short debrief, then enjoy a scenic drive back to Hoima and your driver/guide will drop you back at your hotel marking the end of your memorable one-day adventure in Bugoma Central Forest Reserve.
