Day 1

A Bustling Blend of Nairobi City Tour
Upon your early morning arrival at the airport, your driver will meet and greet you. Then he will transfer you to the Argyle Grand Hotel, just a short drive from the airport.
You’ll embark on a variety of optional excursions to explore Nairobi’s highlights. You’ll visit the Karen Blixen Museum, the former home of the legendary author of Out of Africa, where you’ll learn about her fascinating life and Kenya’s colonial history—lunch at the Iconic Carnivore Restaurant. Alternatively, head to the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, where you’ll witness the conservation efforts to care for orphaned elephants. You can also adopt an elephant to help support their rehabilitation.
Later in the afternoon, you’ll venture into Nairobi National Park. In this unique wildlife reserve, you can spot a variety of animals, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and rhinos, all against the backdrop of Nairobi’s skyline.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Argyle Grand Hotel.

Day 2-3

After breakfast, you’ll board a flight to Nanyuki Airstrip, Laikipia, where you’ll be met and transferred in a 4×4 safari jeep to Solio Lodge. Located within one of Kenya’s first private rhino conservancies, Solio is renowned for its successful breeding program for critically endangered rhinos. Solio is an exceptional place to observe these magnificent creatures up close, alongside a diverse array of wildlife.
Solio also offers thrilling safari activities. You’ll enjoy game drives through the reserve, spotting the black rhino and southern white rhinos, lions, giraffes, zebras, and more. You can also venture on a safari walk, or try horse riding or mountain biking for a unique experience (choose between one of the alternatives).
Optional (not costed): For a day trip, you can explore Aberdare National Park, known for its stunning waterfalls and dense bamboo forests. Birdwatchers will delight in the over 250 bird species that are documented in this area.

Day 4-6

You’ll begin with a flight to Samburu National Reserve, an area renowned for its rich wildlife and culture. After arriving, you’ll embark on your first game drive to spot the Samburu Special 5: Grevy's zebra, gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, and Somali ostrich. These rare species, endemic to the region, make for an exciting safari experience.
For a unique adventure, try guided camel trekking with the Samburu people. This traditional mode of transport offers a different perspective of the landscape, allowing you to take in the sights, sounds, and scents of the bush in a quiet, intimate way.
During your stay, enjoy activities deep in Samburu National Park, where you'll sleep under the stars and visit local markets to shop for Samburu crafts. For photography enthusiasts, guided safari walks provide the ideal opportunity to learn about the region's diverse flora and fauna.

Day 7-9

Timeless Safari in the Legendary Masai Mara National Reserve
Fly to the Masai Mara, where you’ll be welcomed and transferred to your luxurious tented suite. After lunch, embark on your first game drive, where you can spot elephants, lions, and other wildlife. As the day ends, enjoy a gourmet dinner under the stars.
On day two, wake up early for a hot air balloon ride at sunrise, drifting over the vast plains as wildlife roams beneath you. After landing, you'll enjoy a champagne breakfast in the bush before your guide picks you up for the mid-morning game drive. After that, head out on another game drive to witness the great wildebeest migration (July–September) or track the big game. You'll return for dinner and unwind by the campfire.
Enjoy a full-day safari to track the Big cats, wild dogs, and other elusive creatures. You can also opt for a bush picnic or a guided walk with a Maasai guide to learn more about the landscape. Enjoy a sunset dinner before returning to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

You'll start your final day with a leisurely breakfast at Olare Mara Kempinski, taking in the stunning views of the Masai Mara one last time. Afterwards, you'll enjoy your last game drive, soaking in the wildlife and landscapes that have made your stay so memorable. Following the drive, you'll be driven to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi.
Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, you'll be transferred to your next destination, marking the end of your unforgettable safari through Kenya.
