After breakfast at your hotel in Kigali, meet your guide for a briefing before visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial to honor the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Continue with a scenic drive of approximately 2.5 hours northwest through Rwanda’s rolling hills and vibrant countryside to Volcanoes National Park. After checking into your lodge, visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund to learn about gorilla conservation and Dian Fossey’s legacy. After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for your gorilla trekking briefing. Enter the dense montane forest accompanied by experienced trackers and park rangers as you search for a habituated gorilla family. The trek can take several hours depending on the location and movements of the gorillas. Once the family is located, spend up to one unforgettable hour observing their behavior as they feed, groom, play and interact. After breakfast, leave the Bwindi/Mgahinga area and drive toward beautiful Lake Bunyonyi. Enjoy spectacular views of Uganda’s terraced hills, rural communities, banana plantations and green valleys along the way. Lake Bunyonyi is one of southwestern Uganda’s most scenic destinations, surrounded by rolling hills and dotted with numerous small islands. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. You may spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge or taking in the panoramic views of the lake and surrounding countryside. After breakfast, depart Lake Bunyonyi and travel toward Kalinzu Forest Reserve, a lush tropical forest renowned for its biodiversity and chimpanzee population. Upon arrival, embark on a guided chimpanzee tracking experience through the forest, searching for chimpanzee communities moving through the treetops and forest floor. You may also encounter other primates, birds and butterflies along the forest trails. After the experience, continue towards Mbarara, a lively city in southwestern Uganda surrounded by rolling hills, farmland and cattle-keeping communities. Overnight: Emburara Farm Lodge.

After an early breakfast, depart Mbarara at approximately 06:00 AM and drive towards the Mutukula border between Uganda and Tanzania. Complete immigration and customs formalities before continuing to Bukoba on the Tanzanian side of Lake Victoria. From Bukoba, take a domestic flight to Mwanza. Upon arrival, meet your representative and transfer to your lakefront resort. Spend the evening relaxing and enjoying views of Lake Victoria, with an opportunity to experience a beautiful African sunset. Overnight: Malaika Beach Resort or similar.

After an early breakfast, depart Mwanza and drive towards Serengeti National Park. The entry point and safari route will be determined by the seasonal location of the Great Migration, allowing the itinerary to follow the wildebeest herds rather than a fixed route. Depending on the season and current herd movements, the route may approach Serengeti through the western or northern areas before continuing toward Central Serengeti. Game viewing begins upon entering the park, with the route adapted according to wildlife sightings, migration patterns and park conditions. Overnight: Kon Tiki Tented Camp or similar.

Rise very early for a morning game drive as you continue your journey toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. The early start provides excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing while the animals are active and before the day becomes warmer. Continue with game viewing along the way, keeping an eye out for predators, herbivores and other wildlife. Later, leave the Serengeti and proceed toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying changing landscapes as the savannah gradually gives way to the dramatic highland scenery. After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park for your final wildlife experience. The park is famous for its large elephant populations, ancient baobab trees, seasonal wildlife concentrations and diverse birdlife. Enjoy a game drive searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, lions and other wildlife. After the game drive, continue toward Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania adventure. End of Tour.
