Arrival in Nairobi and transfer to Maasai Mara

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and begin your journey to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve.
Travel through the breathtaking landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, with a stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint, where you can take in the spectacular panoramic views and capture memorable photographs. You will then continue your scenic drive to the Masai Mara, arriving at your lodge in time for a delicious lunch.

After lunch and a short time to relax, set out on your first afternoon game drive in the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve. Explore the vast savannah as you search for the renowned Big Five and a wide variety of wildlife, while enjoying the stunning beauty of one of Africa's most celebrated safari destinations. As the sun sets over the plains, return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Game drive and wildlife exploration

After an early breakfast at your camp or lodge, you’ll embark on your first game drive into the Maasai Mara. Led by an experienced guide, you will explore the vast savannah in search of the migrating wildebeest and other wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, lions, cheetahs, and various antelope species. Following a thrilling morning in the park, you’ll return to your accommodation for lunch. In the afternoon, you may opt for a guided nature walk or relax at the lodge’s pool. Later, set out for an evening game drive to witness the stunning sunset over the Mara, capturing unforgettable photographs of the wildlife during the golden hour. Return to your lodge for dinner and share stories of your day.

Prepare for an exhilarating full day of wildlife viewing! After breakfast, you’ll pack a lunch and head out for a day-long adventure in search of the Great Migration’s key highlights. Your guide will take you to prime locations where river crossings are likely to occur, offering the chance to witness the dramatic scenes of wildebeest braving the waters while predators lurk nearby. This day promises excitement and plenty of opportunities for breathtaking photos. After an action-packed day, return to your accommodation in the evening for a delightful dinner, sharing experiences from your adventures in the wild.
