Upon arrival, you will be picked up from Entebbe International Airport and transferred to your Hotel for a rest. If you arrive early, you can go for a Mabamba Birding excursion. Mabamba is home to the shoebill stork and several other bird species. Later, return to your hotel.

Day 2
Transfer to Lake Mburo NP
Transfer to Lake Mburo NP
After breakfast, you will set off for Lake Mburo National Park. Have a stopover at the Equator for photography. Proceed to the park, getting there in time for lunch. In the evening, go for a boat cruise where you will see hippos and other wildlife species. End the day with a walking safari.

Day 3
Game drives & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Start the day with an Ankole Cattle experience, where you will get an opportunity to milk a cow. You will then go for a game drive in the park, where you will see several wildlife species you missed seeing the previous day. Later, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the afternoon.

Day 4
Gorilla Trekking & Community visit
Gorilla Trekking & Community visit
On this most anticipated day, head to the park for a briefing about the dos and don'ts of the gorilla trek. You will be led to the forest amidst sightings of the different wildlife. Once you get to the gorillas, you will be allowed in their presence for an hour, taking photos and getting to know more about them. Return and go for a community visit where you will get to know more about the local people's culture.

Day 5
Lake Mutanda Canoe Ride & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park (Rwanda)
Lake Mutanda Canoe Ride & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park (Rwanda)
After breakfast, you will have a canoe ride along Lake Mutanda. Later transfer to Volcanoes National Park. Pass via the Twin Lakes of Bulera and Ruhondo for sightseeing. You will also visit the Ellen Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. In the evening, go for a cultural visit to the Gorilla Guardian Village.

Day 6
Golden Monkey Trekking & Departure
Golden Monkey Trekking & Departure
You will have breakfast and be taken to the park headquarters for a briefing about the Golden Monkey Trek. Proceed to hike and meet them in the light bamboo forest. On return, you will be transferred to Kigali, arriving in the afternoon for a drop-off at the Hotel or airport for departure, depending on the schedule.
