Arusha -Serengeti National park

After early morning breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area while enjoying game viewing on the route. You will enjoy an evening game drive as you drive towards the camp. Continuing on as you crest the hillside spread out before you, as far as the eyes can see, is the vast Serengeti. Serengeti means “endless plains” in Kiswahili and this 6,900 sq mile (18,000 sq km). The park is inhabited by more than 2 million large animals including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras and Thomson’s gazelles.

Serengeri National park

Today, enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the migration in the Serengeti. After breakfast, enjoy a full day in Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Your overnight stay will be at Angata Luxury Tented Camp on a full board basis. The famous Serengeti National Park is home to the great migration. The game drive is spectacular and the park is inhabited by more than 2 million large animals including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson's gazelles. There are also large predators including lions, cheetahs and hyenas. Many smaller animals like rock hyrax or monkeys also inhabit the area along with nearly 500 species of birds.

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater where you'll have a half-day game drive inside the crater. This is undoubtedly the best place to see black rhinos in Tanzania as well as the pride of lions that include the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingos and a variety of water birds. Other game includes leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, lots of other members of the antelope family and small mammals of sorts can also be seen here. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Lake Eyasi

In the southwest corner of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the beautiful Lake Eyasi, a soda lake that is fed by the Sibiti and Baray Rivers. Visiting Eyasi Lake is a different type of safari experience from those that you may be familiar with from your other Tanzania wilderness excursions with African Mecca. The region around Eyasi is the home of the Hadzabe and Datoga communities who continue their ancient lifestyle of hunting-gathering and pastoralism respectively. Visits to the villages give you a personal, intimate look into the daily life of these people. You may be impromptu invited into their homes, learn about the family structures, participate in traditional dances and bead making with the women, join the traditional small game hunting and gathering by the Hadzabe tribesmen, make bows and arrows, and much more.

Tarangire -Arusha

You are picked up from your lodge early in the morning to start the beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park while carrying lunch boxes.

Tarangire National Park is well-known for its large elephant herds. You will see a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna. All these while the Tarangire River winds its way through the parklands. You may see a lion stalking its prey and leopards relaxing in the trees above. Once the game drives are complete, we will drive you back to your lodge to relax, have dinner and stay overnight.
