4-Day Masai Mara Luxury Flying Safari

Start of your Safari from Nairobi

We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) and transfer you to Wilson Airport for your flight to the Masai Mara. Please plan to arrive 45 minutes to one hour before departure for your 9:15 a.m. flight, which takes about one hour.
Upon landing at the Masai Mara airstrip, a driver-guide from your lodge will greet you and transport you to Sarova Mara Game Camp, an acclaimed property known for its stunning views of the Mara reserve. After check-in, enjoy lunch (if arriving in the morning) and some leisure time to relax at the lodge. In the late afternoon, around 3:30 p.m., embark on your first exciting game drive, exploring the Mara’s surrounding areas and its incredible wildlife. Return to the lodge by evening, around 6:00–6:30 p.m., just in time for dinner.

Today, you’ll enjoy two thrilling game drives. The first begins early in the morning, from 6:15 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., providing an ideal time to spot wildlife at its most active before breakfast. After lunch, you’ll head out again for a late afternoon drive from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., capturing the beauty of the Mara as the animals come alive in the cooler hours. Return to the lodge in the evening for a delicious dinner and a peaceful night’s rest.

Enjoy Full day in Masai Mara

Begin your day with an early morning game drive, the best time to observe wildlife as many animals are most active at dawn. Afterward, return to the lodge for a leisurely breakfast. During the day, you may opt for a visit to a nearby Maasai village, which can be arranged with the lodge manager. This one-hour experience offers a unique glimpse into the daily lives of the Maasai people, including a tour of their traditional Manyatta huts. After returning to Sarova Mara Game Camp for lunch, head out on another safari adventure in the afternoon. Explore more of the reserve, returning to the Camp by early evening, typically around 6:00–6:30 p.m., to relax before enjoying dinner.

Return to Nairobi

Today you bid farewell to Masai Mara. After a relaxed breakfast and check out, you will be transferred to the nearby airstrip for your 10.30am flight back to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, we’ll have our Driver-guide waiting for you at Wilson Airport for onward transfer to your hotel or to the International airport. In case you wish to explore some of Nairobi’s attractions, then do let us know in advance and we can add these into the schedule at extra cost before dropping you off at the airport for your return international flight.
