Arusha Town to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at the Charity Hotel, you will drive to Tarangire National Park for some amazing game viewing. The game in this beautiful national park is plentiful, and the magnificent bird watching will make a devoted birder (and even the most reluctant) appreciate them. The park is home to up to 2,500 elephants, which can be seen looking for underground water in the dry riverbeds during the Dry season. You will also see migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, and other incredible sightings like lion, cheetah, leopard, giraffe, baboon, and waterbuck. The park’s scenery is amazing, a landscape dotted with huge baobab trees and the meandering life-giving Tarangire River. It offers excellent game viewing during the Dry season (June to October) when the migratory wildebeest and zebra are around.
You will have a picnic lunch in the park. After lunch, we’ll continue our game-viewing drive to witness the wildlife of Tarangire. Afterwards, we’ll head to our campsite for dinner.

Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park
We'll have breakfast at the camp and then start with a morning game drive in Tarangire. Then, we'll drive from the camp to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This is our getaway into the stunning Serengeti National Park, one of the largest and most diverse national parks in Tanzania.
Serengeti National Park is renowned for its vast plains and the great migration, which is home to numerous predators, including over 3,000 lions, leopards, hyenas, cheetahs, and other animals. As we explore the park, we’ll be on the lookout for these amazing creatures and soak in the breathtaking landscape of the open plains dotted with kopjes.
We'll have a picnic lunch in the wilderness.
As the day draws to a close, you might witness some of the most amazing sunsets over the vast plains of Serengeti, as the birds head to roost. When the night falls, and you are surrounded by the sounds of wildlife, it’s when your senses are aroused, while a lion pride roars from a distance.

Day 4
Exploring Serengeti National Park
Exploring Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at the camp, we'll set out to explore the vast expanse of the Serengeti, where the wildlife sightings are typically at their peak in the early mornings and late afternoons, when the temperature cools. The multitude and diversity of wildlife species in this huge protected area are unrivaled anywhere on the planet. Serengeti is a Maasai word that means “endless plain”. We’ll return to camp in between game-viewing drives.
We will have a picnic lunch in the wilderness.
After time to relax, we’ll head out on our afternoon game-viewing drive. Our guides will again help us identify the more elusive animal species, such as bat-eared fox and golden jackal, as well as rare birds like the purple grenadier and the red-cheeked cordon bleu. See if you can spot the odd-looking secretary bird or the elegant grey-crowned crane.
We will return to the camp for dinner.

Day 5
Serengeti National Park (Central) to Ngorongoro
Serengeti National Park (Central) to Ngorongoro
We will have breakfast at the camp.
The Serengeti is truly spectacular. It is famous for its vast open grasslands, which allow excellent wildlife sightings. Its climate and vegetation have remained largely untouched for millions of years. While it boasts abundant wildlife, it is perhaps best known for its annual great migration. Vast numbers of wildebeest, accompanied by many zebra, move in an annual pattern, constantly seeking fresh grazing. The migration occurs in any given month; you just need to know where to look! The question should really be about the “best places” to see the animals. In addition to the iconic landscapes, you have a good chance of encountering predators, and you may see lion, cheetah and leopard. It is a truly life-changing experience.
We'll have a picnic lunch in the park.
In the afternoon, we'll visit the Oldupai Gorge (optional), and learn about the origin of humankind, and spend some time at the museum. We'll return for dinner at the camp.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour to Lake Manyara
Ngorongoro Crater Tour to Lake Manyara
You'll have an early breakfast at the camp, then leave to descend 610 meters to the grasslands of the crater floor, an area of about 265 square kilometers. Despite its small size, the crater is a Big 5 country, and the openness of the terrain means easy and rewarding game viewing. You will spend the day exploring the crater floor, stopping to picnic on the grasslands amidst the grazing herds. Formed by a massive volcanic eruption, the world’s largest intact and unflooded caldera provides a year-round home to an astonishing 25,000 large mammals, including black rhino, wildebeest, and zebra, along with Africa’s densest concentrations of hyena.
We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the Ngorongoro Crater floor.
The crater’s forests shelter elephant and buffalo, and its wetlands are home to hippos and flamingos. Lions, jackals, leopards, and caracals make up the full range of predators.
In the afternoon, we leave the crater and drive back to Manyara.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
We'll have breakfast at the camp. Then, after a 30-minute drive, we’ll enter Lake Manyara National Park, one of the smallest parks in Tanzania. It is named after the vast lake that covers a third of the park's area. Yet, Lake Manyara is the park with the greatest diversity of habitats of most huge parks and a great array of wildlife.
You may find yourself in thick woodlands where elephants feast, and lions are lurking among tree branches. Drive past muddy pools full of hippos, and mysterious jungle where baboons and monkeys rule, and the lakeside where thousands of vibrant flamingoes, pelicans, and storks make their summer home.
We will have a picnic lunch overlooking the lake.
And don’t forget the impressive 400–meter–deep Rift Valley Escarpment, a crack in the earth that stretches for a thousand kilometers across East Africa.
In the evening, you will be dropped off at the airport.
