Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will be picked up from Entebbe International Airport and transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Our tour guide will meet you at 8:00am at the airport, and you will begin your journey to the park. Along the way, there will be a stop at the equator, where you can enjoy the experience and take memorable pictures and videos. After that, you will proceed to Mbarara for lunch. As you travel, you will be treated to the beautiful scenery of western Uganda. Finally, you will drive to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Cultural Experience

Enjoy an early breakfast before proceeding to the park headquarters for a briefing on the do's and don’ts of gorilla trekking. Led by experienced rangers, you will embark on a search for the mountain gorillas, taking in the diverse flora and fauna of the park along the way. After spending quality time with these gentle giants, you will return to the lodge for a late lunch.

In the afternoon, you will participate in a cultural experience with the Batwa. This group, commonly known as pygmies, is an endangered community residing around the Echuya Forest Reserve in the Kisoro and Kabale Districts of southwestern Uganda.

After the cultural experience, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer to Entebbe

After enjoying an early breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and begin your journey back to Kampala. You are expected to arrive in the late evening. Your guide will drop you off either at Entebbe International Airport for your flight or at your hotel depending on your preference.
