Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel towards the Masai Mara National Reserve, enjoying the changing scenery as you travel through the Great Rift Valley and into the Mara ecosystem.
Arrive at Mara Serena Safari Lodge for lunch and some time to settle in.
In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive.
Explore the surrounding savannah in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife.
Return to the lodge in the evening and enjoy dinner overlooking the beautiful Mara landscape.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive.
During the Great Migration season, your guide can monitor the Mara River and surrounding areas depending on the location of the herds.

With an additional day in the reserve, there is more time to explore different wildlife areas and spend longer at exciting sightings without feeling rushed.
Your guide will follow the day's wildlife activity, looking for big cats, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest.
During migration season, the safari can be focused around the areas where the herds are currently concentrated, including possible activity around the Mara River.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve before continuing your afternoon game drive.
Return to Mara Serena for your final evening in the Mara.
