After breakfast, you will set off for the Ngorongoro Crater — often called the Eighth Wonder of the World. Your first glimpse of this vast, lush caldera from the panoramic viewpoint is sure to take your breath away. Home to over 120 species of mammals, including the Big Five, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of Africa's most iconic safari destinations. It is one of the best places to spot the endangered black rhino or watch hippos cooling off in the water.

From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, you will have incredible opportunities to observe and photograph some of Africa's most famous wildlife. The crater is a haven for predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, as well as large herds of wildebeest, zebras, antelope, Cape buffalo and more. You will pause for a scenic picnic lunch by the hippo pool before continuing your adventure.
