Today your safari adventure begins! We will pick you up from your hotel in or around Arusha. During the 2,5-hour drive, you will enjoy the views of beautiful nature, landscapes, and local communities. We’ll do a full-day game drive in Tarangire, famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees, and tree climbing African pythons. At the end of the day head to the Lodge. Furnished with two single beds and a small outdoor seating area, this is the chance to get back to basics and enjoy the adventure. First, you can take a dive into the swimming pool!

Day 2

After a filling breakfast, you’ll head out from Tarangire and make your way to the famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Drop down into the massive volcanic caldera, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” which is packed with wildlife. Spend the whole day exploring the crater floor, where you can see the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino—and flamingos, hippos, and tons of bird species. The scenery around the crater is absolutely stunning, making your safari even more unforgettable. The day is designed to be relaxed, with easygoing game drives and plenty of time to enjoy picnic lunches at scenic spots. After the adventures, wind down at your lodge perched on the crater’s edge, perfect for reflecting on the day’s emphasizes.

Day 3

On your last day, dive into Tanzania’s rich local culture with a visit to Mto wa Mbu village, just outside Lake Manyara National Park. This lively village gives you a chance to see authentic local life up close. Walk through traditional farms, taste some local foods, and learn about the customs and crafts from the different tribes here. Hang out with friendly villagers, see banana plantations, rice fields, and cassava farms, and maybe sip on some fresh coconut or sugarcane juice. This cultural stop adds a meaningful touch to your safari and makes the experience even richer. After your visit, you’ll be driven back to Arusha, wrapping up your unforgettable safari adventure with Ekarua Wild Safaris.
