Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha then Tarngire National Park

Today your safari adventure begins! Your safari begins in Arusha, where your guide welcomes you and you set off toward Tarangire National Park. As the city disappears behind you, the scenery opens into wide plains dotted with towering baobab trees. By mid-morning you enter Tarangire, a park famous for its large elephant herds and beautiful river valleys. Wildlife gathers around the Tarangire River zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, giraffes, and countless antelope. Lions often rest in the shade, and with a bit of luck, you may spot a leopard lounging in a tree.

You spend the day exploring the park’s rich landscapes, stopping for a picnic lunch inside the park, then continue your wildlife viewing until late afternoon. As the sun begins to set, you depart the park and drive toward the cool lodge for a relaxing evening.

Ngorongoro crater then fly back to Zanzibar

Your final day begins early as you head toward the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. Mist often covers the rim in the morning, giving the crater a magical, ancient atmosphere. You descend 600 meters into the caldera, entering what many call the “Garden of Eden.” The crater floor is home to an astonishing concentration of animals:

1. Lions roaming the open plains
2. Black rhinos grazing near the marshes
3. Hippos relaxing in the pools
4. Buffalo, wildebeest, zebras & gazelles everywhere

This is one of the best places in Africa to see wildlife up close in a short amount of time.
You enjoy a picnic lunch beside the hippo pool, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the crater walls rising above you. In the afternoon, you ascend back to the crater rim and begin your return drive to Arusha then fly to zanzibar, marking the end of your unforgettable 3-day safari.
