3-Day Murchison Falls Uganda Safari

Pick up & Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Between 6:00 and 10:00 in the morning we start pick up and transfer, we’ll set off from Kampala for the park, a 5- to 6-hour drive with a lunch stop along the way.
After lunch, we’ll head straight to our first activity a hike to the Top of the falls. The walk takes about 30 to 50 minutes, depending on our pace, and offers stunning views from above. From there, we’ll drive to the park’s savannah for a short evening game drive, and if the weather is good, enjoy a sunset ride to spot beautiful mammals and other wildlife.
We’ll then wrap up the day by checking in at the lodge for dinner an overnight stay.

Morning & Evening Game Drives with an afternoon Boat Trip

At 6:00 am, we’ll start the day with coffee or tea before heading to the park for a morning game drive and boat trip. We’ll bring along a packed breakfast to enjoy either during a break at the hippo pool or back at the hotel. On the morning game drive, expect to spot an array of wildlife, from big cats like lions and leopards to elephants, giraffes, and buffaloes.
After the boat Cruise, stop for Lunch and then Evening game drive that normally starts at 4pm to 7pm later drive back to the lodge dinner and overnight.

Rhino Tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Transfer Back to Kampala

After breakfast at 7:00 am, we’ll check out and head to Ziwa for Rhino tracking. Upon arrival at the sanctuary, we’ll have a briefing about the rhinos before setting off on a two-hour tracking adventure. We’ll then continue to Kampala, stopping for lunch along the way. Once we arrive at your lodge in Kampala, our Murchison and Rhino tracking Safari will come to an end.

With an optional chimpanzee viewing available for an additional fee in Budongo Forest.
