Day 1

Begin your adventure with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha and travel to Marangu Gate, the official entry to Kilimanjaro National Park. After registration and a safety briefing, start your picturesque hike through the lush rainforest toward Mandara Hut (2,720m), where you may encounter monkeys, colorful birds, and unique vegetation. At Mandara Hut, enjoy a packed lunch and, if you wish, take a short hike to Maundi Crater for breathtaking panoramic views. After a rest, descend back to Marangu Gate and return to your hotel by evening, with optional stops at local cultural sites or coffee plantations along the way.
