Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park
After an early breakfast, our professional driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel and head west, driving to Kibale Forest National Park. You'll arrive in time for lunch and embark on an afternoon-evening chimpanzee tracking session. You will be taken to the starting point of chimpanzee trekking, where you will meet with a ranger/guide to take you through the dos and don'ts of chimpanzee trekking. Thereafter, the guide will usher you into the forest for 2-4 hours searching for chimpanzees, starting at the spot where they nested the previous night. Chimps make their nests in the canopy, occasionally coming down to the floor during the day to bond with each other. Kibale is a relatively flat terrain, hence the trek is doable even for people with walking difficulties. Once through with the trek, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Lion & Leopard Tracking in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Lion & Leopard Tracking in Queen Elizabeth National Park
You'll transfer from Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park early morning to join your lion & leopard tracking team. Join the professional trackers and researchers to track down lions and leopards. While predator tracking, anything can happen. They could be hunting. They could be feasting on a kill. They could be mating. Two things are guaranteed: you will 100% see lions and leopards probably more leopards in a single game drive here than anywhere else on the continent. Plus, it will be thrilling. The experts will explain the animal behavior and the conservation efforts in place for their survival. On the same game drive, you will also see other animals like elephants, Uganda Kob, warthogs, buffalos, waterbucks, baboons, and a plethora of birds.
Later, you'll go for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel where you'll see several animals lining the shores, such as crocodiles, hippos, buffalo, elephants, and several bird species, including King Fisher, African Fish Eagle, African Jacana, etc.

Day 4
Transfer Game Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Transfer Game Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You'll enjoy an early morning game drive on your way out of Queen Elizabeth National Park on your way to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This status was given to Bwindi for her biodiversity and for protecting 3 great apes in Africa; mountain gorillas, chimpanzees as well as the Batwa People a.k.a. pygmies.
In Uganda's Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, gorilla treks cost ($800pp), slightly more than half of what it costs in neighboring Rwanda ($1,500 pp), making one of Africa's greatest and most sought-after wildlife experiences more affordable here. Uganda's Bwindi is, however, closer to Rwanda's International Airport in Kigali (3-4 hour drive) compared to Uganda's Entebbe International Airport (8-9 hour drive), hence this itinerary ends in Kigali. You could start in Kigali and end in Entebbe by running this itinerary anti-clockwise. Kindly, remember you can customize all our tours.
You'll have an early dinner and prepare for tomorrow's very special activity.

Gorilla Trekking (Tour Ends)
You'll wake up to the beautiful natural smells of the pristine forest and enjoy your sumptuous breakfast against the soundtrack of crickets and birds. You'll head to the 'briefing center' where a head ranger will take you through the dos and don'ts of gorilla trekking. After the briefing, grab yourself a walking stick and follow your ranger guide into the gorilla sanctuary. There's so much exciting wildlife to see before you can even encounter the gorillas. On sight of the gorillas, keep calm and watch them feed, play, swing from one branch to another, and fully utilize your one magical hour in their presence. Nothing will prepare you for the awesomeness of clapping your eyes on the mountain gorillas. Afterward, you will return to the launch site to receive a gorilla tracking certificate. Time to thump your chest! After your lunch break, the guide will drive you to Kigali for your drop-off.
