Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at your accommodation in Arusha, your guide will pick you up for a scenic drive of approximately 2 hours to Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire is famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds, with more than 300 elephants often seen in the park. The park also experiences a mini-wildlife migration during the dry season, with about 250,000 animals moving across its plains. Visitors may encounter buffalo, lions, leopards, wild dogs, and rare antelopes such as the gerenuk, while over 550 bird species make it a paradise for birdwatchers. During the dry season, Tarangire hosts the highest concentration of mammals in Tanzania.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, followed by an afternoon of game viewing. Later, you will drive to your accommodation in Karatu, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.

Day 3

Karatu to central Serengeti National Park

Karatu to central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at around 8:00 AM, you will depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Continue your journey around the crater and descend the other side, enjoying the scenic drive past Maasai villages along the way.

At the Naabi Hill entrance gate, you can take a short walk to a viewpoint offering spectacular views across the endless Serengeti plains. A hot lunch will be served either at the gate or en route, with an incredible bush setup arranged by your guide.

The Serengeti is home to the largest concentration of wildlife on the planet, providing unmatched opportunities for game viewing. You will enjoy an afternoon of unlimited game drives, exploring the park’s vast landscapes until evening. Afterwards, you will drive to your tented camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast at your accommodation, you will embark on a morning game drive in Central Serengeti, where there are excellent opportunities to spot big predators, non-migratory animals, and the Big Five.

Following lunch, you will drive to the far northern Serengeti, known as Kogatende, to follow the Great Migration of over a million wildebeests, accompanied by hundreds of thousands of zebras and antelopes. Between July and October, the wildebeests are typically in the northern Serengeti plains, making this one of the most spectacular times to witness the migration, including the dramatic river crossings.

In addition to the migration, you may encounter predators and a variety of bird species in the area. After an extensive afternoon of game viewing, you will proceed to your carefully selected accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

North to Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, around 8:00 AM (or at your preferred time), you will continue exploring the northern Serengeti, focusing on the Mara River area to witness the dramatic Great Migration and abundant wildlife. Later, you will make your way back to the central Serengeti plains for an evening game drive.

The Serengeti is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including the Big Five — lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. A hot lunch will be served inside the park at approximately 12:30 PM, along with soft drinks and unlimited drinking water.

You will enjoy unlimited game viewing throughout the day, returning in the evening to your tented camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After a delicious breakfast, you will depart early for the Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying a game drive en route. The crater is one of the most breathtaking wildlife settings in East Africa, renowned for being one of the best places to spot the Big Five. It also provides an exceptional opportunity to interact with the Maasai people along the way.

Upon reaching the crater rim, the 20 km-wide caldera opens up in all its stunning glory, and you will descend into the crater via an adventurous trail. This World Heritage Site is home to over 25,000 animals, including a wide variety of bird species, hyenas, and the endangered black rhino.

A hot lunch will be served at a picnic spot near the Hippo Pool, after which you will continue your game drive exploration of the crater. Later, you will ascend the crater walls and drive to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Early morning after breakfast at you will drive straight to Lake Manyara National Park which is also known as the home of Tree Climbing Lions and birds’ paradise. More than 500 species are present in Lake Manyara, and even for a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these species in a single day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. Other animals that can be found here are giraffes, Zebras, hyenas, Buffalo, Hippo, elephants and wildebeests. There after game drive you will drive to Mto mbu village where you will have village tour and later on you will have local lunch in the village served by one of the families. After the lunch you will drive back to Arusha drop off at the agreed point, or drive back to the airport where will be end of our service.
