Upon your arrival, you will be met by our representative and driver at Nairobi Airport or picked up from your Nairobi hotel in the morning. From here you will drive to Lake Nakuru, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch and check in, enjoy a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, where you will have the opportunity to spot rhinos.
The lake's abundance of algae attracts vast numbers of flamingos that famously line its shores. Other bird species, warthogs, baboons, and a variety of large mammals are also found in the park. Some of the wildlife you may see includes Rothschild's giraffes, Cape buffaloes, impalas, waterbucks, hippos, colobus monkeys, spotted hyenas, zebras, gazelles, leopards, lions, and pythons, among others.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will check out and drive to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, you will check in, have lunch, and enjoy a short rest before heading out on an afternoon game drive. You will continue your game drive until the evening.

Day 3

This will be a busy day filled with adventure and game drives. Wake before dawn and embark on a hot air balloon safari over the Mara plains (an optional activity available at an additional cost). After breakfast at the camp, set out on a morning game drive to the Mara River, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross the river during the Great Migration season from July to October. A packed lunch will be provided so you can spend the full day in the reserve. After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five.

Day 4

Wake up early, have breakfast, and drive to the adjacent Serengeti National Park via the Isebania border. Arrive in time for lunch, then check in and relax before heading out on an afternoon game drive in the park. Continue your game drive in search of the park's wildlife until the evening before returning to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Wake up very early to enjoy a pre-breakfast game drive in the park. Early morning is one of the best times to see the Big Five and other resident wildlife, as animals in the Serengeti are most active during the morning and evening hours. Return to the camp for a mid-morning breakfast, after which your adventure continues.
Other interesting places to visit in the Serengeti include the Serengeti Visitor Center, where you can get all the information you need about the park; Olduvai Gorge, known as the Cradle of Mankind because some of the earliest human remains were excavated there by the Leakey family; the beautiful Bologonja Springs, located in the northeastern corner of the park; the Lobo Valley; and the Moru Kopjes. You can also enjoy birdwatching, with more than 540 recorded bird species found in the park.

Day 6

Wake up early for an opportunity to enjoy your final game drive in the park, after which you will return to the camp for a full breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out and continue your safari to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
The main feature here is the astounding Ngorongoro Crater, which is famous for being the largest inactive and intact volcanic caldera in the world. Created by a major volcanic explosion and collapse approximately 2 to 3 million years ago, the crater was officially recognized as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa in 2015.

Day 7

Sleep in until 7:00 am, then have breakfast and check out of your accommodations. You will then enjoy an en-route drive with views of the phenomenal Ngorongoro Crater before being dropped off at Arusha Airport or your accommodations in Arusha. Should you choose to relax on the beaches of Zanzibar, we can also arrange that for you.
