Upon arrival at Arusha Airport (ARK) or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), a Doctari Tansania Reisen representative will warmly welcome you and provide a brief introduction. Then, you'll be transferred to your accommodations in Arusha for an overnight stay.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After an early breakfast, you'll head to Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River, the region’s key water source during the dry season. The park features diverse vegetation, including acacia woodlands and elephant grass, and is famous for its large elephant families, often seen near the river. Other wildlife includes giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, and predators like lions and leopards. Tarangire boasts more bird species than any other park, making it a birdwatcher's paradise. You'll enjoy watching elephants of all ages, from playful calves to mighty bulls, in their natural habitat. After lunch and an exciting game drive, you will proceed to your luxury lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Lake Manyara National Park to Karatu

Early in the morning, after breakfast, you'll continue with a short drive to Lake Manyara National Park for wildlife viewing drives, where you will first encounter large troupes of baboons. Lake Manyara National Park is a protected area in Tanzania’s Arusha and Manyara Regions, situated between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. Lake Manyara National Park boasts a spectacular array of diverse terrain as well as plant and animal species. Established specifically to protect the elephant herds that have made the area renowned, the park provides an amazing wildlife experience. Elephants are not the only animals that Lake Manyara is famous for. Tree climbing lions are occasionally sighted. A visit to the alkaline Lake Manyara is home to flamingos and over 400 species of birds, hippos will also be sighted. A packed lunch will be served at a picnic site. In the late afternoon, you'll continue a short drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and an overnight stay at Gibbs Farm Lodge.

Day 4-5
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you'll drive to Serengeti National Park with wildlife viewing along the way. Renowned as the world’s most famous wildlife sanctuary, Serengeti is unmatched in natural beauty and hosts Africa's largest concentration of plains game. The park is best known for the great wildebeest migration, where over a million wildebeests and 200,000 zebras migrate south to the plains during the short rains (October-November) and move west and north after the long rains (April-June). This ancient journey is driven by instinct, overcoming droughts, gorges, and crocodile-filled rivers. Serengeti's endless plains, abundant wildlife, and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets are unforgettable. You'll enjoy a packed lunch at a picnic site before continuing your game drive. In the late afternoon, you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, you'll drive out of the Serengeti and on to Ngorongoro Crater for a wildlife-viewing drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most famous sites and is said to have the highest density of wildlife in Africa. Sometimes described as the Eighth Wonder of the World, the Crater has achieved world renown, attracting an ever-increasing number of visitors each year. You are unlikely to escape other vehicles here, but you are guaranteed great wildlife viewing in a genuinely mind-blowing environment. There is nowhere else in Africa quite like Ngorongoro! One of the best places in the country to see the endangered black rhinoceros, lions, herds of wildebeest and zebras and hippos. The park is home to the entirety of the Big Five and is a particularly good place to see lions and cape buffalo year-round. A packed lunch will be served at a picnic site. You'll be driven to your accommodation for dinner and overnight at your lodge in the late afternoon.

Day 7
Mto wa Mbu to Arusha
Mto wa Mbu to Arusha
After breakfast, we will drive to Mto wa Mbu for a walking tour, a coffee tour, and a visit to a banana farm. Once we finish, we will transfer you to Arusha, where the tour ends.
Mto wa Mbu provides a vibrant cultural experience, offering activities such as exploring local crafts, watching cultural performances, learning about farming practices, and sampling traditional cuisine, all while engaging with the diverse communities that inhabit the area.
