Arrival in Diani – Coastal Welcome

Your beach safari begins in Ukunda. Upon your international flight arrival at JKIA in Nairobi, you will pick a local flight from JKIA to Ukunda Airstrip, just minutes from Diani’s stunning shoreline. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by our team and transferred to Baobab Beach Resort, perched on a cliff overlooking the turquoise Indian Ocean. Spend the afternoon unwinding by the pool or strolling along the powdery white beach. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with Swahili-inspired cuisine and live coastal music under the stars.

Marine Adventure or Shimba Hills Game Safari

After breakfast, head out for a half-day snorkeling or glass-bottom boat tour at Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park. Spot dolphins, colorful reef fish, and coral gardens. Return to the resort for lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure—try a beach massage, swim in the infinity pool, or join a beach volleyball match. Optional evening dhow cruise with sundowners available.

Diani to Mombasa – Coastal Culture & Fort Jesus

After breakfast, check out and begin your scenic drive north to Mombasa. En route, stop at Shimba Hills National Reserve for a short forest walk, game drive and waterfall visit. Arrive in Mombasa in the afternoon and check into Sarova Whitesands. In the afternoon, explore Old Town Mombasa, Fort Jesus, and spice markets with a local guide. Return to the resort for dinner by the beach.

Depending on your flight schedule, you may opt for a short visit to a local craft market or enjoy a seaside lunch. Your guide will assist with your transfer to Moi International Airport, ensuring a smooth departure from the coast. As your beach safari ends, you leave with sun-kissed memories and a heart full of coastal magic.
