Arusha - Serengeti National Park

Your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha or the airport (as agreed), give you a tour briefing, and take you to Serengeti National Park via the stunning, lush farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the Serengeti National Park, Africa's beating heart, with its endless plains stretching as far as the eye can see. Today, we explore the Seronera area, one of the park's richest natural habitats, and visit the Seronera River, which provides a vital water supply to the area. Arrive in time for lunch and experience a day within the Serengeti's countrywide park.

You can never have too many days in the Serengeti! Today, you’ll get another chance to experience its beauty.

You’ll enjoy a half-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, where you’ll see more wildlife and landscapes. Afterward, you’ll drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and spend the night there. This will set you up for an exciting adventure the next day, as you’ll be ready to explore the Ngorongoro Crater.

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

After an early breakfast at the campsite, you will drive down to the Ngorongoro Crater, which is over 600 meters deep. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and large African elephants. Another major drawcard of this picturesque countrywide park is its dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which every now and then calls for a skilled eye to spot. You can also visit Lake Magadi, a massive, though shallow, alkaline lake in the southwest corner; this’s one of the crater's major highlights. A massive quantity of flamingos, hippos, and different waterbirds can generally be seen here. Drive to Arusha, where the 3-day Serengeti safari ends.
