Gosheni Safaris staff will pick you up from Kilimanjaro International Airport and take you to your accommodation at Arusha Coffee Lodge found at the foot of Mount Meru and hidden amongst one of Tanzania's largest coffee plantations. You will stay in one of the plantation cottages with its unique architecture that dates back to the early 1900s. The interiors permeate of coffee beans-themed design and amenities include a bar and cozy lounge as well as a swimming pool and garden terrace.
In the morning you will wake up to the aromas of the morning brew coming from the main plantation as your breakfast is being prepared.

Day 2
Tarangire National Park: Game Drive
Tarangire National Park: Game Drive
After breakfast, drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park with your private Gosheni guide. Begin exploring the river, woodland and open grassland habitats in a pop-up roof 4x4. Look for elephants, giraffes, antelope and birds, allowing time to stop when the family wants a closer look. Lunch is included during the day’s programme. Continue to Serian Tarangire Camp for dinner and overnight inside the park. Sightings depend on conditions, and your guide plans the pace around the family’s needs.

Day 3
Tarangire National Park - Family Game Drives
Tarangire National Park - Family Game Drives
Spend a second day in Tarangire, with game-drive timings agreed with your guide around the family’s interests and energy levels. Explore a different part of the park or revisit an area with productive sightings. Watch for elephants, birds and predators, without promising any particular animal. Enjoy lunch and time to rest before further game viewing as the programme allows. Return to Serian Tarangire Camp for dinner and overnight. A ranger-led walking safari is not included in this family programme.

Day 4
Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, leave Tarangire and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Explore its forest and woodland habitats with your private guide, looking for elephants, baboons, monkeys and birds. Tree-climbing lions are a possibility rather than a promise. Stop for lunch during the day, then continue towards the Ngorongoro Highlands. Check in at Naserian Safari Camp for dinner and overnight. Your guide balances wildlife viewing and the road journey so that the family can reach camp before evening.

Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater

Set out early from Naserian Safari Camp for a game drive on the floor of Ngorongoro Crater. Explore the grassland and wetland habitats with your guide, looking for lions, buffalo, elephants and other resident wildlife. A rhino sighting is possible but never guaranteed. Lunch is included at a designated picnic area, with time afterwards for further game viewing as park rules permit. Return to Naserian Safari Camp for dinner and overnight, ready for tomorrow’s drive to the Serengeti.

Day 6-7
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
Travel from the Ngorongoro Highlands to Central Serengeti on the first of these two days, with lunch and a game drive en route as conditions permit. Spend the following day exploring the Seronera area with your private guide. Agree on the pace and breaks around the family’s needs, watching for big cats and other resident wildlife. Both nights are at Olkarien Eco Safari Lodge, with the meals listed in the programme included. The migration follows rainfall and may be elsewhere; a river crossing is not part of this Central Serengeti stay.

Day 8-9

Drive north through the Serengeti towards Kogatende on the first of these two days, with game viewing along the way and lunch included. Spend the following day exploring Northern Serengeti with your guide, looking for the migration herds and resident wildlife. The route is offered during July–October, but herd movements and river crossings remain unpredictable. Avoid assuming that waiting at a river guarantees a crossing. Both nights are at Enkutoto Migration Camp, with breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Back to Arusha
Back to Arusha
After breakfast at Enkutoto Migration Camp, enjoy a final morning game drive if the flight schedule allows, then transfer to Kogatende Airstrip for your included flight to Arusha. On arrival, meet your driver for the onward airport transfer. The day’s timings are arranged around the confirmed domestic flight, and a late international departure is recommended to allow enough time for the road transfer and check-in. Breakfast and lunch are included as listed. The ten-day safari ends at the airport.
