Your Serengeti adventure begins in Arusha, where you’ll make your own way to the airport for a scheduled morning flight into the Serengeti. As you soar over the Rift Valley and endless plains, enjoy stunning aerial views of northern Tanzania’s landscapes. Upon arrival at the airstrip in Serengeti National Park, your professional safari guide will be waiting to greet you and begin your first game drive en route to your camp or lodge. This drive offers a wonderful introduction to the Serengeti’s rich wildlife — you may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, or even a leopard lounging in an acacia tree. Arrive at your accommodation in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive to explore more of the park’s unique ecosystems. As the sun sets over the savannah, return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay in the heart of the wild.

Rise early for a sunrise game drive, when the light is golden and wildlife is at its most active. With luck, you might catch a pride of lions on the move or a cheetah scanning the horizon. After a bush breakfast or a return to camp for a full breakfast, your day continues with extended game drives through different areas of the Serengeti. Depending on the season, you might follow the path of the Great Migration or focus on resident game and birdlife. Your experienced guide will tailor the day to maximize sightings and allow for quiet moments to take in the scenery. Lunch will either be a picnic in the bush or served at your lodge. After another exhilarating afternoon game drive, return to your accommodation for your final night in the Serengeti.

Upon arrival in Arusha, you may continue with your travel plans or opt for a transfer to your hotel, arranged separately.
