Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from the hotel in Arusha around 7:00 am and drive to Tarangire National Park for game drives with a packed lunch. Located slightly off the main safari route, Tarangire National Park is a lovely, quiet park in northern Tanzania. It is most famous for its elephant migration, birding, and authentic safari atmosphere. The majority of travellers to the region either miss out on Tarangire altogether or venture into the park for only a matter of hours – leaving swathes of Tarangire virtually untouched! Late afternoon, depart the park and drive to Manyara for dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge.

Marera Valley Lodge to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart from Heart and Soul Lodge to Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch. Enjoy a game drive en route towards Serengeti. The Serengeti National Park is Africa’s most famous park. Renowned for its incredible concentrations of predators and the great migration of 2 million grazers, a safari here is guaranteed to be exceptional. The endless grassy plains are amongst the richest grazing grounds in the African bush and home to the largest herds and the highest concentrations of predators on the planet. Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

You will have a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, either with a packed lunch or a hot lunch back at the camp (discuss this with your guide). In Serengeti, it is easy to see many animals. If you visit during the migration season, you will see the wildebeests around the Seronera area.

After a long day in the Serengeti, you can drive back to the camp in the evening.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

After an early breakfast, you will enjoy a half-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, en route to Naabi Gate, arriving around lunchtime. After lunch, you will proceed toward the Ngorongoro area, with a few stops along the way, including a scenic viewpoint overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater. There may also be an opportunity to visit a Maasai village, which can be arranged and discussed with your driver-guide during the journey. You will then continue to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Marera Valley Lodge.

Ngorongoro Crater then Arusha

After an early breakfast, we drive to the Ngorongoro Crater and descend for game drives with picnic lunch boxes. The crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five. It is a great way to start your African safari adventure. It is also one of the world's most beautiful natural wildlife safari sites and an exceptional place to interact with people from the Maasai tribe. In the late afternoon, we ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha.
