Dar es Salaam City to Morogoro Town by SGR Train the to Mikumi National Park

We will pick you up from the agreed point in Dar es Salaam and take you to the train station for your morning train to Morogoro Town. On arrival at the train station, you will meet your driver-guide and transfer to Mikumi National Park. You will have a lunch stop at the restaurant in the park, then continue to the afternoon and evening game drive until sunset. This is home to elephants, lions, wild dogs, zebras, hyenas, buffaloes, wildebeests, elands, hartebeests, crocodiles, lizards, and other residents. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park. After sunset, you will leave the park and drive to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. Note that the night game drive can be booked as an option at an extra cost.

Hiking at Udzungwa Mountains National Park and Visiting Sanje Waterfalls

After an early breakfast, you will leave with your packed lunch and drive 70 km (about 1 hour) to Udzungwa Mountain National Park. The route will take you through Price Bernard and Sanje Waterfall. You will walk through this beautiful park, enjoying its stunning natural beauty. You will have a picnic lunch in the bush, then explore the area's wonderful Sanje waterfall, endemic red Colobus monkey and beautiful scenery. Lunch will be served at the Sanje Viewpoint. After that, you will descend, meet the car, and return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning Game Drives at Mikumi Park to Dar es Salaam by SGR Train

You will have breakfast at your accommodation, then leave for the morning game drive, which starts at 7:00 a.m. and runs until 10:00 a.m. Then you will leave the park and head to Morogoro, with game along the route through the park. The lunch stop will be at the restaurant in Morogoro Town. After that, you will drive to the train station for your evening train to Dar es Salaam, where the tour ends at the agreed-upon point.
