Now they guide guests throughout the forest and expose them to their former habitat and survival strategies there. This amazing path relates to Batwa’s actual cultural heritage.

You will later go back to Lake Bunyonyi for leisure and breathtaking views of the tiny islands there. Although Lake Bunyonyi is bordered by lush, green-terraced hills rising to a height of 2,200–2,478m, its most stunning feature is the 29 islands of all forms and sizes strewn across the lake—you could see them all day.

Not to mention the lake itself, which is bursting with hippos and crocodiles, you may also search for hyenas, leopards, topis, elands, and the exquisite Rothschild’s giraffes.
