Day 2

Leave Arusha after breakfast for Tarangire National Park. Your guide leads a game drive among the park's baobabs, looking for elephants, giraffes, antelope and other wildlife. The route and sightings depend on conditions on the day, so take time to watch what unfolds rather than following a fixed checklist. After the drive, continue to your included lodge near Tarangire for the evening.

Day 3

Leave the Tarangire area after breakfast and travel to Serengeti National Park. As the scenery opens into wide plains, enjoy a game drive en route to your camp inside the park. Look for grazing herds, giraffes, elephants and other wildlife, with your guide adapting the route to conditions. This is your first of three nights in the Central Serengeti, giving you time to settle in before two more days of exploration.

Serengeti Plains Game Drives
Set out on game drives across the Serengeti's open plains. Your guide will choose the route according to conditions, looking for grazing herds and predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas. There is time to stop, watch animal behavior and photograph the landscape rather than rushing to another park. Wildlife moves freely, so every drive is different. Return to your camp in the evening.

Serengeti Wildlife and Scenic Game Drives
Enjoy another day of game drives in Serengeti National Park. Three nights in the park give you more time to explore than a quick transit visit. Search different habitats for zebras, gazelles, elephants and the predators that share this ecosystem, with breaks to enjoy the scenery. Your guide will adapt the route to conditions; no particular sighting is guaranteed. Return to Enkirari Wilderness Camp for your final night in the Serengeti.

Day 6
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu
After breakfast, leave the Serengeti and continue to Ngorongoro Crater. Descend to the crater floor for a game drive through grassland, woodland and wetland habitats. Watch for buffalo, hippos, zebras and predators; a rare black rhino is possible but not guaranteed. After your crater visit, travel onward to your included lodge near Karatu for the night.

Lake Manyara National Park – Return to Arusha
Lake Manyara National Park – Return to Arusha
Travel to Lake Manyara National Park for a final game drive before returning to Arusha. Explore the park's forest, lake edge and Rift Valley scenery while looking for birdlife, hippos and other wildlife. Its tree-climbing lions are a possibility, but sightings depend on nature. After the visit, drive back to Arusha, where your safari ends.
