Following an early morning meal, a Sumpton Safari guide will pick you up from your Arusha hotel and take you to Serengeti National Park, stopping at lovely spots to snap photographs and enjoy your Tanzania Classic trip. We will provide you with a tasty lunch on the road so we can make it to Serengeti National Park in time for afternoon game sightings, as the journey from Arusha to the park takes around six hours.

You will be warmly welcomed to the lodge where you will be staying. You will then enjoy an adventurous game drive in the park. The Serengeti National Park is home to hundreds of wild animals.

Explore Serengeti National Park

On this particular day, your classic tour will start after breakfast. You will have an opportunity to see hundreds of thousands of elands, zebras, Thomson's gazelles, and Topis among the millions of wildebeest in the park.

You will go off on a Serengeti migration tour, during which you will visit different regions of the park at different times to see the animals in their natural environments. You will check back into the lodge for the night after supper.

Serengeti- Ngoro ngoro Crater

You will have breakfast early at your lodge before setting out for the day's adventure. You will have a picnic lunch at midday before embarking on the magnificent wildlife sightings.

The area around the Grumeti River is perfect for seeing the huge wildebeest migration. You will witness herds of migratory animals grazing along the Grumeti River and eventually try to cross it. You'll explore locations along the Grumeti River and drive to the Ngorongoro crater to stay there overnight.
