Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your driver guide will pick you up in Arusha and begin the journey to Tarangire National Park, a two-hour drive through scenic Maasai villages and open countryside. On arrival, you’ll head straight into the park for a game drive. Tarangire is known as the “home of elephants,” with some of the largest herds in northern Tanzania, along with lions, leopards, giraffes, and buffalo. The landscape is dotted with ancient baobab trees and crossed by the Tarangire River, which draws animals in great numbers during the dry season. After a rewarding game drive and unforgettable wildlife encounters, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we depart from Fig Tree Lodge and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through scenic highlands and local villages before reaching the crater rim. We then descend 600 meters onto the crater floor for a full-day game drive in one of Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to an extraordinary variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, and the rare black rhino. Its mix of grasslands, swamps, and acacia forests provides ideal habitats for diverse species. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, we ascend to the rim and drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast at Fig Tree Lodge, we drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. This park is known for its stunning landscapes, alkaline lake, and abundant wildlife, including elephants, hippos, giraffes, buffalo, and the rare tree-climbing lions. Over 400 bird species can also be spotted, making it a paradise for bird lovers. After exploring the park, we continue the journey back to Arusha, passing through scenic countryside and local villages. Upon arrival in Arusha, we transfer you to the airport for your onward departure, marking the end of an unforgettable safari adventure.
