You’ll take a scenic domestic flight from Zanzibar Airport to the Serengeti National Park. Upon landing at Seronera Airstrip, our guide will be there to welcome you and start your exciting game drive with a picnic lunch en route. In the evening, you’ll head to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
The Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Northern Tanzania, spans 15,000 square kilometers of vast savannahs and rich ecosystems. It’s home to:
- Over 2 million herbivores, including wildebeest and zebras
- 4,000 lions and 1,000 leopards
- 550 cheetahs and 500 bird species
During the dry season, you’ll witness the great migration as immense herds of wildebeest and zebras traverse the plains. The Northern Serengeti also offers a chance to spot resident wildlife, including elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, and the rare oribi antelope—all within the stunning landscapes of this African wilderness.
