Depart from Arusha in the morning and begin your journey through the scenic landscapes of northern Tanzania. The drive passes through local villages, open plains, and Maasai communities before arriving at Tarangire, an area famous for its ancient baobab trees and large populations of wildlife. Enjoy a full day exploring the diverse landscapes while searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many other animals that roam freely across the savannah. Your guide will help you discover hidden corners of this beautiful wilderness and explain the unique ecosystem that supports such rich wildlife. Around midday, stop at a safe picnic site to enjoy lunch surrounded by nature before continuing with an afternoon game drive as the wildlife becomes more active. In the late afternoon, proceed to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife areas and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This vast volcanic caldera is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife within its unique ecosystem. Enjoy a morning game drive across the crater floor where you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, and many other species. The landscape is spectacular, featuring open grasslands, acacia woodlands, and a soda lake that often attracts flamingos and other birdlife. Midday, stop at a designated picnic site near a hippo pool to enjoy lunch while surrounded by breathtaking scenery. After the game drive, ascend the crater in the afternoon and begin the return journey to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon where your safari concludes with a drop-off at your hotel or preferred location.
