Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Our professional tour driver-guide will meet you in Arusha town, either at your hotel or the airport, and provide a concise safari briefing. Then, equipped with a picnic lunch, we'll journey approximately two hours to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing. Lunch will be enjoyed within the park, followed by continued exploration until the late afternoon, when we retire to our camp.

This remarkable park is famed for its vast landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees and is home to one of Tanzania's largest concentrations of elephants. During the dry season, the Tarangire River becomes a magnet for wildlife, drawing large herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, and a variety of antelope, as well as predators like lions and leopards.

Bird enthusiasts will also find Tarangire a paradise, with over 500 recorded species, including the colorful yellow-collared lovebird and the striking martial eagle.

You'll have dinner and spend the night at Fig Tree Lodge.

Day 2

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park

Today, after a delicious breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide for a journey to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet diverse gem that covers about 330 square kilometers. The park is famous for its breathtaking scenery, from lush groundwater forests and open grasslands to the vast, shallow soda lake that spans two-thirds of its area.

Lake Manyara is most renowned for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and sizable elephant populations. The alkaline lake, rich in algae, attracts thousands of flamingos and a variety of other waterbirds, making it a birdwatcher’s paradise with over 400 species recorded.

This varied landscape, set dramatically against the backdrop of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, provides excellent wildlife viewing year-round.

This will mark the end of your tour. You will return to Arusha, where our driver will drop you at your hotel, or if you have a flight scheduled, you will be dropped at the airport.
