Arrive in Arusha, where your safari adventure begins. From here, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its giant baobab trees and large herds of elephants. In addition to elephants, the park is home to a variety of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, and lions, all set against the backdrop of a rugged landscape. Embark on your first game drive through the park, enjoying stunning views and incredible wildlife sightings. Enjoy your leisure lunch at the picnic site within the park, then proceed with the afternoon game drive until the sundown. The evening will be spent in a comfortable lodge where you can relax and unwind after your first exciting day on safari.

Today you'll drive arround the Ndutu region a true highlight of the safari. You’ll have a quick hot lunch before setting out in afternoon game drive. Ndutu comes alive during the calving season, with hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and other grazers giving birth to their young, providing a dramatic wildlife spectacle. As you drive through the vast plains and marshes, you’ll witness newborn calves taking their first steps and predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas stalking the herds in search of an easy meal. Your guide will expertly navigate the area to ensure you don’t miss any action, providing in-depth knowledge of the calving process and the predator-prey dynamics that define this time of year. As the day draws to a close, enjoy sundowners in the wild before heading back to your camp for a hearty dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Day 4

Another half day in Ndutu offers the chance to further explore the rich wildlife and breathtaking scenery that this region has to offer. Begin with an early morning game drive, where you’ll have the opportunity to see predators on the prowl as the calving herds remain vulnerable. Watch in awe as a lioness quietly stalks a newborn calf or cheetahs race across the plains in pursuit of their prey. The early morning light provides perfect conditions for photography, as the landscape and animals are bathed in a soft, golden glow. After a bush picnic lunch, you will continue with your exit game drive in the afternoon, before heading out of the Park to Karatu Town for relaxation evening, dinner and an overnight stay.
