Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Cultural Experience

After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with experienced park guides and trackers. Follow forest trails in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family and spend up to one hour observing these endangered primates in their natural habitat after locating them. Return to the lodge before visiting a Batwa community to learn about the Indigenous forest people’s heritage, traditions and connection with Bwindi.
